About
Keep the points you need. Keep the original. Plymere is a local workspace for preparing smaller PLY point clouds on iPhone and iPad. Crop a spatial region, reduce density, save reusable cuts and export real files with the original vertex records preserved. SEE THE CUT Orbit and zoom the 3D cloud. Switch to front, side or top views. Set inclusive X/Y/Z bounds with sliders or enter exact source coordinates. Show removed points as context and compare the untouched original. iPad offers a wide scene above a horizontal cutting workbench. REDUCE WITH INTENT Choose a voxel width in source units. Plymere keeps the first input point in each cell, using the original bounds as the grid origin. Coordinates are never averaged or rescaled. RGB and every additional supported scalar property remain intact in the PLY output. REUSE THE WORK Keep local projects and name useful cuts. Restore a saved cut, duplicate a project independently, rename it or delete it. The optional original ceramic study is an analytic example, not a scanner capture. New libraries begin empty. FILES YOU CAN CHECK Build six actual files: the cut PLY, byte-identical original PLY, coordinate/color/source-index CSV, restorable Plymere JSON project, three-view proof PNG and PDF summary with bounds, density settings, source SHA-256 and preserved property schema. The generated PLY is parsed again and its selected records checked before sharing. Share all through the system sheet or save to Files. JSON restore creates an independent copy including saved cuts. ONE PURCHASE No subscription, in-app purchases, account, advertising, analytics or developer-server upload. Files and edits stay on your device unless you choose to share them. System device and iCloud backup settings still apply. Export backups before uninstalling. SUPPORTED SCOPE ASCII and binary little- or big-endian PLY 1.0 with x/y/z scalar vertices; optional complete unsigned 8-bit red/green/blue. Up to 500,000 points, 64 MiB source, 64 scalar properties, 24 projects and 64 saved cuts per project. Property names use printable ASCII up to 80 characters. Coordinates must be finite and within ±10¹² source units. JSON imports up to 96 MiB. Nonempty faces or other elements, list vertex properties, Gaussian-splat data and malformed files are rejected. No scanning, mesh editing, E57/LAS/LAZ, registration, point repair or spatial measurement certification. Source units are not assumed to be meters. The 3D preview is capped at 80,000 displayed points; crop/reduction/export operate on every original point. Proof images are schematic projections and may sample dense clouds. CSV includes index, coordinates and RGB only; additional properties are retained in PLY.Read more

SEE THE CUT
Orbit and zoom the 3D cloud. Switch to front, side or top views. Set inclusive X/Y/Z bounds with sliders or enter exact source coordinates. Show removed points as context and compare the untouched original. iPad offers a wide scene above a horizontal cutting workbench.
REDUCE WITH INTENT
Choose a voxel width in source units. Plymere keeps the first input point in each cell, using the original bounds as the grid origin. Coordinates are never averaged or rescaled. RGB and every additional supported scalar property remain intact in the PLY output.
