About
Take a closer look at your drill export. Viaquill is an offline round-hole drill-file workbench for iPhone and iPad. One upfront purchase includes every inspection and export tool, with no subscription. SEE THE ACTUAL HOLES Open up to four ASCII XNC or explicit-decimal Excellon files from Files. View their circular holes at the original XY origin. Pinch, pan, fit, isolate a diameter group and toggle source visibility. Color identifies source/tool groups; it does not classify plating. Sources must already share the same coordinate system. CHECK A PRECISE POINT Choose a hole directly or find a tool/coordinate in the searchable list. Inspect original source line, diameter and XY in mm. Select two holes to read centre distance and signed edge gap; a negative gap means circles overlap. Add individual hole notes and project review notes. These are geometric measurements, not PCB design-rule or manufacturing validation. SAVE YOUR WORK Keep up to 40 local source-bearing projects. Reopen, rename, duplicate or delete reviews. Restore an exported Project JSON containing original source bytes and notes. The app starts empty; an optional original synthetic workshop jig demonstrates the tools and is not a manufactured board. SHARE A USEFUL REVIEW Export a vector PDF with review summary and a 1:1 A3 round-hole drawing, mm SVG, 1600-pixel overview PNG, all-hole CSV, tool/count CSV, unchanged original sources, editable source-bearing JSON, readme and SHA-256 manifest in a ZIP. Preview the PDF and share the packet or individual files through the system share sheet. View filters never remove holes from exports. Print A3 at 100% and verify the 50 mm calibration bar. SUPPORTED SUBSET • ASCII, 2 MiB per source; four sources, 20,000 holes total, full hole extent up to 200 × 200 mm, diameters greater than zero and up to 20 mm. • Complete M48 header, METRIC/INCH with optional LZ/TZ, T01–99/C tool diameters, % or M95, G05, optional G90, complete absolute X/Y explicit-decimal coordinates and M30. Nonzero coordinates require a decimal point; zero may be 0. • Unknown commands or ambiguous implicit coordinates are rejected with the line reason. No guessed scaling. • No slots, routing, repeats, incremental/omitted axes, Gerber/copper/netlist, automatic alignment/plating classification, drill rewriting, machine control or fabrication certification. • Project names 64 characters, review notes 2,000, up to 200 hole notes of 500 characters; source-bearing Project JSON up to 12 MiB. • Save to retain changes. Back up original sources and exported JSON. Deleting the app removes local work. No account, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync or developer upload. Files leave the app when you choose to share them.Read more
