About
Axislet makes real variable-font motion files on iPhone and iPad. Import a variable TTF or OTF, set its axis endpoints and render a looping GIF. A WORKING TYPE STAGE Use your own font or two included OFL families, Fraunces and Roboto Flex. Edit the copy, set actual axis start and end values, choose smooth, linear or stepped timing, and scrub or play the result. Axis bounds and defaults come from the font. MAKE THE OUTPUT YOURS Choose square, portrait or landscape, ink and background, type size, alignment and spacing. Export an opaque 720-pixel GIF at 12 fps, a 1440-pixel PNG at the current playhead, a PDF specimen, per-frame axis CSV and recipe JSON. Files are real rendered output, shared through the system sheet. KEEP EDITING Save, rename, duplicate and delete local projects. Imported fonts and your exact settings stay with each saved motion. Start with an empty library or explicitly create the editable original sample. LIMITS Whole-text synchronized axis motion only. GIF uses a seamless start-to-end-to-start cycle, two to four seconds, 24 to 48 frames. Static fonts, font collections, WOFF, encrypted fonts and color fonts are not supported. Up to 20 MB per imported file and 20 saved projects. CoreText renders the text; inspect your output for unsupported glyphs. Recipe JSON is documentation, not an importable backup. No font editing, installation, video, transparent GIF, per-letter keyframing or online font downloads. Imported font files are not included in exports. You must have the appropriate rights to use your fonts in imagery and animation. One purchase. No subscription, account, ads, analytics or developer upload. Work stays on this device unless you choose to share files.Read more
