Rimvara 9-Slice Assets

Rimvara is an offline 9-slice image workshop for iPhone and iPad. Import an owned PNG, define the fixed borders and stretchable center, then inspect several resized outputs before sharing real production files. KEEP THE CORNERS Set integer left, top, right, bottom fixed borders by dragging guides or using exact pixel controls. Content insets are separate from stretch bounds. Compare the original, 9-slice output and ordinary whole-image scaling. Corners retain their source pixels. Stretch or repeat the middle regions with nearest-neighbor sampling. TRY REAL SIZES Save up to six named target sizes per asset, 32–2048 pixels per side. Target sizes must fit the fixed borders plus a center pixel. View the checkerboard alpha preview, inspect output RGBA pixels and see content bounds at every size. REUSE WORK Keep 24 local assets with original PNG bytes, notes, targets and settings. Duplicate,rename,delete and undo edits. Import a full Rimvara JSON backup to restore your work. Production starts empty; optional original pixel-frame studies help you learn. TAKE REAL FILES Export the unchanged original, nine cropped PNG patches, target PNGs, coordinate CSV, a framework-neutral JSON parameter record, a full restorable JSON backup and PDF proof in a complete ZIP. Also export an uncompiled .9.png with one contiguous horizontal and vertical stretch run plus content markers. Repeat mode applies only to Rimvara rendered targets; .9.png uses stretch markers. INPUT LIMITS Static non-interlaced 8-bit gray, RGB, gray-alpha or RGBA PNG only, 16 MB maximum,8–1024 pixels per side. Palette, 16-bit, animation and tRNS transparency are rejected. Stored channel bytes are read without gamma or ICC conversion; original bytes remain unchanged. Generated PNGs omit source metadata. No background removal, image generation, atlas packing, engine plug-in, code deployment or verified third-party runtime compatibility. One purchase.
