About

Apply your own impulse response to a batch of local audio and keep the bounces. Veldverb is an offline convolution file tool for sound designers, musicians and editors preparing short audio assets. IMPORT AND MIX Bring source clips and one impulse response from Files. Set wet percentage, pre-delay, output gain, IR peak normalization and whether to retain the convolution tail. Keep saved jobs and reusable mix presets. Every settings change invalidates old renders. RENDER REAL AUDIO Convolution runs locally. Outputs are 48 kHz, 24-bit integer PCM WAV files. A stereo IR filters left and right independently; a mono IR filters each source channel. Mono source is duplicated for stereo IR. This is independent L/R processing, not cross-channel true stereo. LISTEN AND CHECK See source and actual written-result waveforms, duration, tail extension, output sample peak and any applied safety gain. Select Dry or Bounce and audition the actual files at reduced monitor level. Turn device volume down before comparing. DELIVER A BATCH Share individual WAVs or one ZIP containing all bounces, Bounces.csv, Settings.json, Bounce-report.pdf and Readme.txt. Preview the actual PDF. The CSV records frame counts, channel count, mix values, IR scale and safety attenuation. Original source audio and embedded metadata are not included; JSON is a settings record, not an editable project backup. SAVE YOUR WORK Up to 8 jobs, 6 clips per job and 20 presets. Working audio copies, mix settings, notes and current results persist locally. Delete a job or clear its renders to reclaim storage. Production starts empty; an optional original synthetic example demonstrates the same import-and-render engine and is not a room measurement. LIMITS Each source: up to 90 seconds and 60 MB. Total source length per job: 180 seconds. IR: 0.01–2 seconds, up to 20 MB, non-silent. Mono/stereo audio decodable by iOS, 8–96 kHz. Inputs are converted to 48 kHz float working copies. Working library is limited to 600 MB and rendering requires free device space. Rendering and audition run while the app is active. LEVEL AND SCOPE Wet 0–100%, pre-delay 0–250 ms, output gain -24 to 0 dB. IR normalization uses a single shared peak scale. Output above -1 dBFS sample peak receives one constant attenuation per file. This is not limiting, compression, loudness matching, true-peak measurement or mastering certification. Listen and judge results in your own workflow. No recording, real-time AUv3 host/plugin, sweep deconvolution, room measurement, IR marketplace, source separation, time stretching, pitch shifting or cloud processing. Use audio and IR files you are authorized to process and share. Keep original files and important exports separately before deleting jobs or uninstalling. One-time purchase. No subscription, in-app purchases, account, ads, tracking, analytics or developer data collection. Native iPhone navigation and a dedicated iPad clip, waveform and IR workspace.Read more
