About

Give every LTC WAV its own name and starting timecode. Slatewave is an offline file studio for production assistants, editors and show programmers who need a checkable batch handoff. BUILD A NAMED BATCH Create, edit, reorder, duplicate and delete clips. Set each start address, requested length and eight hexadecimal user-bit digits. Keep up to 20 editable batches. Import UTF-8 cue CSV from Files with all rows validated before anything is added. GENERATE REAL LTC WAVS Choose 23.976 NDF, 24, 25, 29.97 NDF, 29.97 DF or 30 fps; 44.1 or 48 kHz; 16 or 24-bit integer PCM. Route LTC to mono, the left channel with silent right, or the right channel with silent left. Set the square-wave level from -24 to -3 dBFS. CHECK THE FILES Inspect an actual encoded 80-bit frame word at any frame offset. See first and last encoded addresses, frame-rounded duration and actual sample counts. Audition the generated WAV at low monitoring volume. DELIVER TOGETHER Share named WAVs, Cue-sheet.pdf, Cues.csv, an importable Batch.csv, Batch.json settings and a README in one ZIP. Preview the actual cue-sheet PDF in the app or share an individual WAV. Editing invalidates old output; render again to replace the delivery. SCOPE Up to 12 clips per batch, 1-600 whole requested seconds per clip and 1,200 seconds per batch. Requested lengths round to whole frames, then whole samples. Last addresses are inclusive; timecode wraps at 24 hours. CSV imports are UTF-8, at most 32 KB, with the exact header name,start,seconds,user_bits. Import appends clips using the current batch frame rate. Batch.json is a settings manifest, not an importable library backup. Slatewave generates files; it does not decode recordings or provide live jam synchronization, wall-clock sync, MIDI, Art-Net, microphone recording or certified electrical output. Test compatibility in your own receiving workflow. Lower volume before listening to the harsh LTC signal. Rendering and audition work while the app is active. One-time purchase. No account, subscription, ads, analytics or developer data collection. Local names, notes, timecodes and export settings are included in files you choose to share. Native iPhone navigation and an iPad queue with a linked inspection workspace.Read more
