Mote: Stop Doomscrolling

Stop doomscrolling, gently. Mote is a tiny moth who sits with you while you focus, and pauses the apps that pull you away until you're done. Focus, and your Pips grow. Leave early, and it costs one. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose the apps and websites that distract you. Apple's Screen Time keeps your choices private. 2. Pick a focus length, from 15 minutes to 4 hours. Add an intention if you like. 3. Start. Those apps pause until the session ends. Mote stays right here. PIPS, GROWN BY FOCUSING You start with 2 Pips, and every 3 hours of focus grows another. Need to stop early? Spend a Pip and everything unlocks at once. It's just enough friction to keep you honest. Pips are always earned, never sold. A COZY FOCUS TIMER AND APP BLOCKER IN ONE • Works for study, deep work, reading or a pomodoro sprint • Pause only the apps you choose, or everything except the ones you need • Block apps, whole categories and websites • 5-minute breaks between sessions • Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets • Start a session with Siri or a Shortcuts automation • Your week of focus at a glance • Made for light and dark mode KIND, NOT STRICT No streaks to lose and no guilt. Mote won't shame you for picking up your phone. It just makes the pause easy to keep. And if you truly need an app right now, there's always a way out. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no analytics. Your focus history stays on your iPhone, and Mote never sees which apps you choose. MOTE MEMBERSHIP Mote is free to download. Focus sessions need a membership: monthly or yearly, both starting with a 1-week free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings.
