About

You have twenty minutes to spare. Practice runs long, the meeting ends early, the line is not moving. You reach for your phone and do nothing but scroll through reels of brain rot. All the Little Things is for exactly those moments. Use your time for something you want to do but may have forgotten. Isn't it just a ToDo app. No, not really, it's a don't forget app. Catch those fleeting thoughts that go as quickly as they come. Save them for when you have the time. Isn't it just a Reminder app. No, not really. Sure you can use due dates if you want to, but that's a secondary thought. A reminder asks you when. This asks you how long. What it knows are the things that are never late and never scheduled, only forgotten: call the dentist back, find the receipt for the boots, reply to the note from school. You catch it the second it occurs to you, and it goes on a shelf with no date on it. Then when you find some free time, you say how long you have, and it reminds you of those little things you can do in that amount of time, already picked and already in order. CATCHING ONE Hold the big button, say the thing, let go. It is saved before the phone is back in your pocket, and your own words become the title. The phone does the listening and the writing, and none of it leaves the device. Photos, files, links shared out of Safari and plain typing all land the same way. HOW LONG, NOT WHEN One tap on one of four dots: a glance, a task, a coffee, a walk. A guess is already in place from what you wrote. Due dates are optional since most little things never get one. A SET, NOT A LIST Tell it how much time you have to spare and it works out which handful comes closest to filling it without running past. It weighs what nags, what has sat there longest and what you have waved away before, then runs them one at a time and nothing else on the screen. IT NEVER NAGS No notifications, no badges, no streaks and no weekly review. Nothing goes off. You think of a little thing, and getting on the shelf is simple: Control Centre, the Lock Screen, the Action Button, a widget, or Siri. ON YOUR WRIST Have an Apple Watch? Tap, say it, tap. The watch keeps the recording until your phone is near, and lets you know when your phone has got it. WHERE YOUR THINGS LIVE No account, no sign-in and no server of ours. Sign in to iCloud and the same shelf is on your iPad, in your own private database, sealed so that only your devices can open it. FREE, AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL Every screen, the watch, the widget, the syncing and the planner. Nothing is locked, nothing runs out, and there is no Pro version of this to sell you. There is a tip jar at the bottom of Settings, in three sizes. Leaving a tip is completely optional and is a way of saying thanks, and for encouraging the development of future applications.Read more
