Route Rivals turns a real journey into short rounds you play along the way. One person builds the trip and hosts it from their phone; everyone else joins from the seat next to them and answers on their own screen. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account to make. The phones talk straight to each other, so a dead zone on the highway or a plane at cruising altitude changes nothing about the game. HOW A TRIP WORKS Set your dates, add the stops you expect to reach, mark the driving and flying days, and tap Generate My Trip. You get a chapter a day, three to five tasks each, built around where you actually are. Trips run from one day to thirty. ALL AT ONCE, OR ALL DAY Play a day's tasks back to back, or spread them across hours you choose and let every phone raise a reminder when the next one is due. Reminders are made on your own phone; nothing is sent from anywhere. Mark whoever is driving and their phone stays quiet, with no round waiting on them. WHO PLAYS Up to eight phones connect directly, with no login and no internet. A player joins by scanning a QR code or typing the six-character code on the host's screen. Only one phone in the group? Pass-and-play hands it around, with a handoff screen between turns. WHAT YOU DO Trivia, with a speed bonus for the first three right answers. Word and story prompts the group votes on. Photo and observation tasks. Votes about each other, and small physical dares for when everyone is out of the car. The host's phone does all the scoring, so the leaderboard agrees on every screen. SAFE IN A MOVING CAR A driving chapter offers only trivia, observation and votes. No typing, no photos, nobody getting up, and the screen says plainly that a passenger should be holding it. The host can also switch off alcohol, adult humour, physical tasks, photo tasks and location, and turn on Quiet Mode for planes and restaurants. AT THE FINISH The finale hands out awards for more than raw points: trivia accuracy, fastest answers, creative wins, photo wins, chapters finished. Badges are earned along the way. The recap is a postcard you can share as a picture. CONTENT PACKS 247 tasks ship inside the app. Base Road Trip is included forever and can fill a thirty-day trip without repeating a task. Optional packs for hockey, camping, airports, poolside and Canada unlock for the length of one trip by watching one rewarded video, and only the host watches it: everyone connected to the trip gets the pack.
