Samira drives for MaiCorp. Whatever is in the boot has to arrive today. Twenty legs from Hamburg across the USA, Canada, Europe and Dubai to Beijing. Something different rides in the passenger seat every time: a battery backup, a webcam, five hundred metres of cable. The customer is waiting, the clock is running, and boss Steffen speaks up in a speech bubble – especially after a crash. WHAT IT IS An arcade racer. Throttle, brake, steer, nothing else. Every leg has four to six checkpoints, and each one buys you time. Run out of it and the delivery has failed. WHAT IS ON THE ROAD • Traffic, oncoming as well on country roads • Oil, ice, water, sand • Cones, roadworks, falling rocks • Elk in Canada, camels in Dubai, goats in Tuscany – not one of them holds a licence THE CAR A Horsche 922 or an ALIG GT, both convertibles, in five colours. Damage runs from zero to a hundred per cent; at a hundred the run is over. THE RADIO Three stations before every leg: rock, pop and hip hop. None of it is recorded. The music is made inside the device, note by note, and the dashboard radio shows the spectrum along with it. WHO IT IS FOR Three difficulty levels: easy-going, normal, hard. Traffic, obstacles and the time cushion grow with the leg. Fail a leg and you drive it again – nothing is lost along the way. TWO LANGUAGES English and German, chosen at first launch and switchable from the menu at any time. WHAT IS NOT IN IT No ads. No purchases. No account. No data collection. FASTER ON OLDER DEVICES The game was drawing every frame with more work than it needed.
