About
Professor Carius wants Candyland scrubbed spotless. Forever. Anna has a unicorn and a lollipop cannon. That will have to do. WHAT IT IS Anna rides up the candy road, always upwards, through 25 sweet lands. The cannon fires all by itself – you only have to fly and dodge. At the end of every land a crowned boss is waiting. WHAT IS IN IT • 25 lands with five sections each – from Lollipop Meadow to the Tooth Castle • Five cannons to be found along the way • The sugar bomb, for when things get too crowded • A best-scores list of your five best runs – on the device, no account • Sweets, hearts, surprises and a heap of enemies with very strict intentions • An opening in seven pictures that tells how it all began WHO IT IS FOR For children who already know which way is up in a game. Fall, and you restart the section – not the land. There is no time limit and nothing gets taken away. CONTROLS With a finger: put it down anywhere and drag. A controller works too, menus included. With "Reduce Motion" switched on, the game plays without screen shake and without flashes. TWO LANGUAGES German and English, switchable at every start. The manual is on board in both. WHAT IS NOT IN IT No ads. No purchases. No account. No data collection. The app needs no internet and never asks for it – it does not even hold the permission. Your progress stays on the device. FROM US Zuckerrausch is a fond parody of "Crazy Nurse – Sarah's Crazy Job" from the same house: night shift becomes sweet shift, hospital corridors become candy roads. Nurse Sarah has a small part in the opening. Made in Germany by www.MAI-DIGITAL.de – for Anna, with icing.Read more

SMOOTHER ON OLDER DEVICES The game was drawing every frame with more work than it needed. Two things changed, and both were measured on an inexpensive phone rather than guessed at a desk: finished shapes are no longer kept in memory – on a phone that cost several times more than it saved – and the picture now sits exactly on the screen's pixels. SHARPER The picture used to land one pixel beside its place, so the screen had to rescale it in every single frame: needless work, and softer than it had to be. Now it sits where it belongs.
