Firepaw

Firepaw turns a dog treadmill into a proper training log. A small Bluetooth speed sensor on the treadmill's roller measures every session, so you can see how far and how fast your dog really runs, and how their fitness builds week by week. Made for dog owners, trainers, canine rehab professionals and competition organizers who work dogs on slatmills and carpet mills. LIVE SESSIONS • Live speed, distance and time, and whether your dog is walking, trotting or running • The clock starts on your dog's first step, not while you're still getting them on the belt • Keeps recording with the screen off, with a notification showing what's being recorded • Run several dogs at once, each on its own treadmill with its own sensor INSIGHTS AFTER EVERY RUN • A plain-language summary: how long your dog walked, trotted and ran, and how often they stopped • Speed chart with walk, trot and run zones and the session average • Longest stretch, best 60 seconds, and estimated energy burned once you've added your dog's weight TRACK YOUR DOG'S FITNESS OVER TIME • Every session, day by day • Weekly distance chart, trends and training streaks • Personal bests: longest distance, longest session, fastest minute, biggest week • Weekly distance goals with a progress ring DOG PROFILES • Breed, age, fitness level, health notes and training goals • Weight tracked over time on a simple chart SHARE WITH YOUR TEAM • Give co-owners, trainers or vets access to a dog, each at the level they need • Let access expire on a date, or keep older sessions private • Hand a dog's profile over to its owner with a one-time code, ideal for trainers who set up a client's dog TREADMILL COMPETITIONS • Timed runs that start on the dog's first step and stop themselves • Rank dogs by distance or top speed; each dog's best run counts • Enter any dog by name: competitors don't need the app • Continue a competition on another phone, and share or save the results as a PDF WORKS ANYWHERE • No signal at the barn, the clinic or the venue? Everything is saved on your phone and uploads when you're back online • Kilometers or miles, kilograms or pounds • No ads and no third-party analytics WHAT YOU NEED • A dog treadmill: a slatmill or carpet mill • A standard Bluetooth cycling speed sensor on the treadmill's roller, set to speed mode. Firepaw is built and tested with the Coospo BK9S • A one-time calibration: enter your roller's diameter • A free Firepaw account Firepaw measures activity; it does not give veterinary advice. Ask your vet before starting or increasing treadmill training.
