About
Sixty seconds. Ten shots. One harpoon. Spearfish Reef is an arcade spearfishing game about picking your moment. The cheap fish swim close to your gun and the valuable ones hang back, and because a harpoon stops on the first thing it touches, landing a marlin means finding a lane through the traffic. Or spending a shot to scatter it, which opens a gap for a second or two. EARN YOUR SHOTS BACK Three hits in a row win a shot back, so a steady aim keeps the round going. Twelve in a row sets off a FRENZY: five seconds of free shots and a double-speed reel. SOMETHING IS ALWAYS ABOUT TO HAPPEN The treasure chest opens once a round. Spear what is inside for 2,000 and everything you land scores triple for nine seconds. A yellow submarine crosses once and takes three hits to sink, for 5,000. Clams on the seabed gape with pearls inside. A golden school pours through halfway. And a great white hunts the reef, scattering everything ahead of it. PLACE THE SHOT Where the spear goes in matters. Put it in the head of a big fish and it pays 20% more, reels in fastest, and the line cannot part. Hit the tail and it comes in far slower, and it can tear off. Keep the gun pointed along the line as the fish runs and you will hold it. READ THE WATER A real current runs through the reef. It pushes the fish and bends your spear, and you can see it: the silt drifting past moves at exactly the speed the water will act on your shot. THE REEF TIGHTENS As the clock runs down the fish get bigger, busier and faster. A tuna you could take by aiming at its nose at five seconds needs real lead by fifty-five. TWO REEFS The Wreck is a broken galleon, still spilling air, with crabs and a moray living in it. It is free, and it is a whole game on its own. The Coral Reef is warm shallows with living coral, and the only home of the clownfish, the angelfish and the lionfish: a one-off purchase. Each reef keeps its own high score table, so no two are ever compared. SEVEN SPEARGUNS, EARNED BY PLAYING Unlock new guns by playing: land 150 fish, sink the sub three times, score 60,000 in a round. None of them can be bought, and none shoots any better. They just look better. NOTHING HERE MAKES YOU BETTER AT IT No advertising, now or ever. No analytics, no trackers, no accounts. The game makes no network calls of its own: the only traffic is Google Play's, when you buy or restore a reef. Pearls are earned by playing and spent on spear finishes, which are looks only. There are no consumables anywhere, and the clock, the shots and the scoring work the same wherever you dive. There is a scoring page inside the game that explains every number, read straight from the game's own rules. Tap How to score on the title screen.Read more

EARN YOUR SHOTS BACK
Three hits in a row win a shot back, so a steady aim keeps the round going. Twelve in a row sets off a FRENZY: five seconds of free shots and a double-speed reel.
SOMETHING IS ALWAYS ABOUT TO HAPPEN
The treasure chest opens once a round. Spear what is inside for 2,000 and everything you land scores triple for nine seconds. A yellow submarine crosses once and takes three hits to sink, for 5,000.
