About

Ohanashi Film turns your read-aloud videos and page photos into storybooks you can turn through on your phone. Want to hear that page again? Instead of searching through a video, turn back to a favorite page and listen again. THREE WAYS TO CREATE • Record page by page Follow the guide and film one page at a time. Each recording segment becomes a page in your storybook. • Use an existing video Choose a read-aloud video from your library. The app looks for page changes so you can check and adjust the boundaries afterward. • Add photos and your voice Take page photos or select them from your library. Arrange and crop your photos, then record narration for each page. Retake one page without changing the others. MADE FOR REPLAYING FAVORITES • Turn pages by dragging from the edge • Return to earlier pages and listen again • Adjust, split, and merge video page segments • Edit completed books • Browse and sort your collection • Follow an illustrated tutorial • Switch between Japanese and English • Store photos, audio, videos, and book data on your device WHY I BUILT IT My daughter had a favorite picture book. I began recording myself reading it so she could enjoy it when we were away from home. But replaying a favorite page in a video was awkward. I built Ohanashi Film to make those recordings feel more like a book she could turn through herself. FREE PLAN AND REMOVE ADS Use all three creation methods, playback, and editing for free. Save up to 5 books in total. Delete a book to bring your collection below 5 and make room for another. The free plan includes ads. Saving and changing the sort order require watching a rewarded video. The one-time Remove Ads purchase removes all ads, including rewarded videos. The 5-book limit still applies. PLEASE NOTE Creation is intended for a parent or caregiver. This app does not provide a catalog of books or read-aloud videos; you supply your own photos and videos. Automatic page boundaries depend on the recording and can be adjusted in the editor. Available device storage is required. Uninstalling the app may remove your locally saved books. Use books, photos, and videos only where you have the necessary rights or permission.Read more
