Open it and see exactly what you owe — when the vehicle was impounded, how long it's been in the yard, storage, fees and sales tax, itemized and current to the minute. Pay with a card on file, or finance it with Affirm (balances of $50 or more) and see the rate, payments and dates before you accept. The moment you pay, your release pass appears in Wallet: a 9-digit number and a QR code. Show it at the yard and drive away. No surprise at the window, no cash to carry. FOR IMPOUND YARDS Log a vehicle in seconds: scan the plate or VIN, or scan the TowBook page and let the app read the VIN, plate, vehicle and tow time off it. Set the intake date and time — storage bills from that moment, and you can correct it if the truck dropped the car before it was logged. Choose how you count storage: per hour, per 12 hours, per 24 hours, or calendar days, with the rule spelled out under each. The ledger shows every vehicle on the lot with its running balance and an itemized breakdown. Tap Text Bill to Owner, enter their mobile, and the bill goes out from TowFi's number. When they pay, enter their release number and the vehicle is released; the money goes to your Stripe account. Cash and card at the window still work. Invite attendants with a code so your staff can run the counter without seeing your earnings.
