About
TowFi Lite is the payment side of TowFi, on its own. It is made for tow companies that already have their own way of taking calls and sending out trucks, and only need a fast, safe way to invoice a customer and get paid. There is no map, no driver tracking, no dispatch board and no in-app calling. Your location is never used, and nobody tracks your trucks. If you want dispatch, live tracking and calling, those are in the full TowFi Provider app. If you don't, TowFi Lite is all you need. HOW IT WORKS 1. The tow company writes an itemized invoice: hook-up, mileage, winching, storage, or any charge of its own, plus tax. 2. TowFi texts the invoice to the customer. 3. The customer opens TowFi Lite, sees every charge, and pays by card or applies for financing through Affirm. 4. The customer receives a 6-digit code and reads it to the tow company when the job is done. 5. The tow company enters the code and the payment is released. The customer's card is held when they pay and is charged only when the code is entered. Each code works once, for one invoice. FOR TOW COMPANIES - Send an itemized invoice by text, with your own charges and prices - The app remembers the last price you used for each charge - See every invoice at a glance: unpaid, paid, completed - Get a notification the moment your customer pays - Enter the customer's 6-digit code to collect - Payouts through Stripe, with your balance and payout history - Add employees so your team can send invoices under your company - Your invoice total is what you receive. TowFi's fee is shown to the customer separately and is never part of your invoice - Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID FOR CUSTOMERS - Get your towing invoice by text and see exactly what you are being charged for - Pay with a card on file, or apply for financing through Affirm - TowFi's fee and the total are shown before you pay - Your 6-digit code releases the payment only when the job is done - A wallet with your cards and a fee statement for every paid invoice - Save your vehicles, and scan your insurance card to fill in the details - Rate your tow company and leave a tip for your driver ONE APP FOR BOTH SIDES Tow companies and their customers use the same app and choose their side at sign-in. If you already have a TowFi account, sign in with the same email and password. HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT Ask TowBi, the built-in assistant, or contact support from inside the app. ABOUT FINANCING Financing is offered through Affirm and is subject to eligibility and approval. APR ranges from 0% to 36%, with plans of 3 to 36 monthly payments. Affirm shows your exact rate, payment amounts and due dates before you accept. TowFi is not a lender. Available in the United States to customers 18 and older. TowFi Lite is a product of Belmont Labs Inc.Read more
