About

ForgeSight Metallurgy Lab Enabling intelligent metallurgical management for every material batch ForgeSight Metallurgy Lab is a specialized platform that integrates metal samples, manufacturing processes, heat treatment cycles, test results, and traceability records into a unified, connected workflow. Built around the lifecycle of material batches, ForgeSight enables engineers, technicians, researchers, and metallurgy teams to clearly and systematically document every critical step—from raw material identification to final release. Material Sample Workspace View material grades, batch identifiers, processing status, hardness, dimensions, and sample status within an interactive workspace. Rotate samples, inspect cross-sections, view metallographic images, and maintain material records while retaining full context of the current batch. Composition Analysis View Explore alloying elements through visual composition models. Review content levels, metallurgical functions, tolerance data, and certificate sources for elements such as carbon, chromium, molybdenum, manganese, silicon, and others. Process Workflow Construct and review complete manufacturing routings covering machining, heating, quenching, tempering, and final inspection. Each process stage includes relevant parameters, equipment records, operator notes, checklists, and history logs. Compare different process routings without relying on unsubstantiated recommendations. Heat Treatment Analysis Visualize heating, soaking, and cooling stages on interactive heat treatment curves. Adjust peak temperatures, examine heating rates and holding times, review quenching conditions, and analyze cooling curves. The system clearly indicates estimated hardness ranges, presenting them as reference model estimates rather than definitive final results. Microstructure Viewer Examine metallographic observations at various magnifications. Zoom in on microstructure images, select regions of interest, record grain observations, and compare different areas. Save etching methods, magnification levels, notes, and attachments as part of the batch history. Hardness Measurement Record Rockwell hardness results complete with specific test point locations. View test point distribution, measurement methods, testing equipment details, individual readings, and the final batch hardness value. Once measurement data is saved, the associated material workspace updates automatically. Batch Traceability Track the complete manufacturing timeline, spanning the entire process from raw material receipt through machining, heat treatment, hardness testing, metallographic analysis, and inspection to final release. Each record is linked to its specific batch, process route, heat treatment cycle, and relevant supporting documentation. ForgeBook Compile structured metallurgical records covering material identification, chemical composition, process workflows, heat treatment cycles, hardness testing, microstructural analysis, batch history, and revision logs. Users can select specific sections to generate clear, comprehensive records suitable for audits, handovers, or internal archiving.Read more
