About
EcoPurity FieldLab is a professional design and analysis application tailored for environmental engineers, ecological restoration practitioners, wetland maintenance personnel, and water treatment researchers. Covering the entire lifecycle of constructed wetland systems, it integrates engineering structural design, treatment process analysis, water quality simulation, plant ecological configuration, and operations and maintenance management into a single interactive workspace. Users begin by designing ecological treatment units on a wetland profile canvas, configuring parameters such as length, width, effective water depth, slope, design flow rate, as well as the thickness, material, and porosity of various media layers. Based on real-world project parameters entered by the user, the application calculates hydraulic loading, pore flow velocity, and hydraulic retention time, generating a wetland model that can be iteratively revised. In the process analysis module, users can visualize the complete flow path—from the inlet zone and filtration zone to the plant root zone and outlet zone—and examine the retention time, media depth, flow velocity, and operational status of each treatment area. A scenario comparison feature allows users to adjust wetland length, treatment area, and media configuration to intuitively assess the impact of different design conditions, while leaving final judgment to the engineering professionals. The water quality simulation module supports the analysis of key pollutants such as COD, BOD, TN, and TP. Based on inputs including influent concentration, flow rate, water temperature, hydraulic retention time, wetland structure, and plant coverage, the application calculates concentration changes along the flow path, predicted effluent concentrations, and pollutant removal rates. A simulation tracking page displays the entire calculation chain—from input data and hydraulic models to reaction parameters, zonal removal, and effluent predictions—facilitating the verification of results. The plant configuration module utilizes an interactive ecological zoning map rather than a simple plant list. Users can assign specific plants—such as reeds, cattails, yellow flag irises, and canna lilies—to different wetland zones, adjust planting densities and coverage ratios, and view data on suitable water depths, tolerance levels, pollutant removal capabilities, and ecological habitat value. Plant growth records and suitability analyses assist users in maintaining healthy, stable wetland communities. The operations management module provides insights into system health and key water quality indicators, alongside tools for maintenance scheduling and on-site task management. Users can create maintenance tasks—such as water quality sampling, plant inspections, and media cleaning—and record execution dates, completion status, and on-site notes. Project data is synchronized across modules, ensuring consistency among design parameters, simulation results, planting schemes, and operational records. The EcoBook reporting function compiles project overviews, wetland structures, treatment processes, water quality simulations, planting layouts, operational history, and maintenance records into professional ecological engineering reports, which can be generated as PDF files for sharing and archiving.Read more
