About

Seamline puts every designated trout water in your state on one map, and you don't pay to read it. Tap a creek and you get its name and class, whether the banks are public, what the regulations say, how the nearest USGS gauge is running, and the last day the state stocked it. Read the water before you drive • Streams tinted by live water temperature, so the cold, fishable reaches stand out at a glance. • A two-week strip on every water: flow against its usual range, temperature against the 67°F line where trout start to struggle, and each stocking marked as a brook-trout spot. • Plain answers such as "318 cfs, falling, 54°F". No mystery scores. • The rain the National Weather Service expects over the next three days, so you know before a storm muddies the creek. • Every stream's length, drop and average gradient, with an elevation profile from source to mouth, so you can tell pocket water from long flat runs before you go. • Switch to satellite, hybrid or shaded-relief terrain, and color the streams by temperature, class, public access or special regulations. • Tap Nearest trout water and a compass points you to the closest stream, with the distance counting down, and it works with no signal. One tap hands off to Apple Maps for the drive to the nearest access site. Know where you can stand • Public land, state access points and angling easements drawn on the map. • Every reach says whether its banks are public, partly public, or have no public access on record. When the records are thin, it says so instead of guessing. • Stream sections drawn as public, easement or private, and "Can I fish here?" on every card: the state's own rules on wading and floating, and its trout season. • Road crossings, parking, trailheads, campgrounds, boat ramps and fly shops near the water. Plan the day • Measure the distance along a stream between any two points. • Drop your own markers, draw lines and outline areas. They stay on your phone. • Share a water with a friend, or log a catch in CatchJournal. Stocked-trout anglers are covered too State hatchery stocking reports come in as they are published, from agencies in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Washington, California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Iowa, where both the spring creeks and the community ponds are covered. Wisconsin trout waters show the yearly stocking history the DNR publishes after each season: the year, the species and how many went in. Minnesota, Wyoming, Missouri, New Mexico and Arkansas waters are mapped in full. Where a state has no stocking dates to share, the app tells you that plainly. Seamline Pro • Offline state packs: download a whole state, and the map opens with no signal at the trailhead. • Alerts when a watched water gets stocked, when a river drops into the flow range you like, or when it runs too warm for trout. • 30 days of flow and temperature history. • Unlimited saved waters. Seamline Pro is $29.99 per year (try it free for 7 days), $4.99 per month, or a single $79.99 payment that never renews. Subscriptions bill automatically each period; to stop one, cancel it in your Apple ID's Subscriptions settings 24 hours or more before it renews. The app reminds you the day before your trial ends. There's nothing to sign up for. Your saved waters live on your phone; alerts store only the water you watch, never where you are. Trout classes, access and stocking come from state fish and wildlife agencies, public land from PAD-US, flows and maps from the USGS, and roads and places from OpenStreetMap contributors. Postings on the water and the current state regulations always come first.
