About

Hailmark draws hail swaths straight from NOAA radar. Open the map and see, in seven color bands from 1 inch to 3 inches and larger, where the radar estimates hail fell over the last 24 hours. Tap any spot for its estimated size and the exact radar window it covers. It is built for people who work storms: roofers, inspectors, adjusters and anyone deciding where to look first. It is a map and a notebook, not a lead list, and it never shows homeowner names or addresses. FREE • Live swaths for the last 24 hours across the contiguous U.S., updated about every 30 minutes • Tap any spot for its estimated hail size, with the radar window in your local time • A jump-to-the-largest-hail button for when you only want the worst of it • One saved area and three pins with notes • Shows the last radar it loaded when you have no signal HAILMARK PRO • Every past hail day since October 2020, on the same map • Hail history for any spot: the radar days that estimated hail exactly there • Push alerts when radar estimates new hail inside the areas you watch, with your own radius and minimum size • Up to 20 saved areas, unlimited pins and notes, and a CSV export of your pins with their nearest town and radar estimates HOW TO READ THE MAP Sizes are radar-derived estimates (NOAA MRMS MESH), not measurements. Radar can miss hail or overstate it, and an estimate is never proof of damage, so verify on site. Each map covers a 24-hour window ending at 12:00 UTC (7 AM Central). That is not a calendar day, so a storm after that hour appears on the next day's map. Radar files sometimes contain impossible readings. Hailmark checks every file, holds back any that fail, and tells you when it has. YOUR DATA Saved areas, pins and notes stay on your phone. Turning on alerts stores that area's location and a push token on Hailmark's server so it can notify you, and you can delete it from the About screen at any time. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, charged to your Apple ID and managed in its settings. Radar data: NOAA/NSSL Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor system, a public-domain U.S. government product. Hailmark is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA.
