Cryomapper: Freezer Boxes

Cryomapper is a chain-of-custody bench tool for the freezer boxes of a small biobank, core facility, or teaching lab. It reconciles what each box should hold against what is physically in the wells, one tube at a time. Today A working dashboard of active audit sessions with progress, aliquots out on pull manifests, unresolved discrepancies, and the latest custody events. Every row deep-links straight to the well it concerns. Audit Open a box and work the grid in Expected, Observed, or Reconcile view. Each well carries a live finding badge - match, missing, extra, moved, duplicate code, unreadable - recomputed from your entries, and tapping a well opens an inspector that explains the finding in plain language. Record wells by camera scan, typed code, empty, or unreadable, then close the session with a written acknowledgement. Find Look up any specimen alias or barcode to get its physical route - freezer, rack, box, well - plus the complete custody trail. Moves and returns run as checked transactions that must pass occupancy invariants before anything is saved. Storage Model freezers, racks, and boxes with true geometries up to 26 x 24, and read per-box occupancy maps at a glance. Records Export any audit as JSON, CSV, or a paged PDF, each stamped with its SHA-256 digest, and back up or restore the whole repository as a checksummed archive with a validation preview. Privacy Records are processed and stored locally without a developer-operated server, account, tracking, or analytics. Camera scanning is optional and runs on the device. Files you choose to export and device backups are handled by your selected destination and Apple settings.
