Aliquotcairn is a local-first planning and traceability workspace for research and technical laboratories. It keeps a coded parent source, planned child tubes, rack coordinates, actual transfers, custody events, and evidence exports connected in one project. CODED INTAKE - Maintain multiple independent projects with a project code and descriptive name - Record a coded source ID, material, source volume, concentration, received time, storage condition, current location, lot or run reference, and notes - Keep demonstration content explicitly coded and non-identifying MASS-BALANCED PLANNING - Choose a child-tube count, target volume, tube capacity, dead volume, protected reserve, rack dimensions, tube prefix, destination, operator, and procedure reference - Normalize microliter and milliliter entries while preserving the entered units for review - See source, unavailable, available, planned draw, and residual volumes together - Surface blocking values, capacity conflicts, insufficient source volume, invalid rack dimensions, and reserve warnings before work proceeds DILUTION LADDER - Plan a serial dilution from the recorded source concentration, C1V1 = C2V2 chained rung by rung - Choose the factor (2x, 5x, 10x), rung count, and volume per rung - Read transfer and diluent volumes per rung, total diluent, source draw, and the final concentration - Checks flag transfers below your pipettable minimum and rungs above tube capacity - Log the planned ladder into the project's custody record RACK MAP AND TUBE LINEAGE - Generate stable child-tube identifiers and deterministic row-column coordinates - Plan racks up to 26 x 24 positions, or 624 coded tubes - Search by tube ID or rack coordinate - Inspect each tube's parent source, planned and actual volume, status, location, freeze-thaw count, and note TRANSFER RUN - Work through an explicit preparation and handoff checklist - Keep the approved plan separate from actual transfer entries - Record actual volume, operator, timestamp, status, and exception note for each tube - Hold over-capacity or unresolved records for review before finalization - Append custody and freeze-thaw events without replacing prior history EVIDENCE PACKET Build five local files for review and handoff: a readable PDF bench report, tube-manifest CSV, custody-log CSV, structured JSON snapshot, and printable Code 128 tube-label PDF. The packet includes source-to-child lineage, volume balance, rack coordinates, actual transfers, exceptions, and a SHA-256 project fingerprint. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE Aliquotcairn has no account, subscription, analytics, advertising, tracking, or developer-operated cloud service. Project records remain in the app container unless you explicitly export them through Apple's share sheet. Planning, persistence, search, barcode rendering, and report generation work offline. Aliquotcairn supports planning and documentation. It does not replace validated institutional procedures, calibrated equipment, safety controls, manufacturer documentation, or qualified review.
