About
A workout log for people who train to feel better, not to compete. No account. Your workouts stay on your phone. One payment, once. Most logging apps are built for lifters and ask you to think in body parts and split days. Seven Movements asks a simpler question: over the last month, did you push, pull, bend, twist, squat, lunge and carry? Almost nobody answers yes to all seven, and it's hard to know which ones you're missing. THE SEVEN Every exercise is organized by what your joints are doing, not by which muscle is sore afterwards. PUSH — pressing something away from you, or yourself away from the floor. PULL — bringing something toward you, or yourself up to a bar. BEND — folding at the hips and straightening back up, with your back held flat. TWIST — turning through the middle, or holding still against something trying to turn you. SQUAT — sitting down and standing back up, usually both legs at once. LUNGE — the same, with one foot in front of the other. CARRY — picking something heavy up and going somewhere with it, or simply holding on. THE WHEEL One wedge per movement, over whatever stretch of time you choose. A long wedge is something you've been doing more of. A short wedge, less. It's a picture of balance you can read in a second, and it's something that would be hard to hold in your head for a whole month. So if you need to bend more, you'll see it. One button starts a workout weighted toward the movements you have been doing least. LOGGING A SET Sets don't need typing, and they can be entered with one hand. The app remembers what you did last time, so repeating it is easy. Not everything is weight and reps. Carries and holds are counted in seconds. For anything you work one side at a time, one rep means both sides. And some work carries no number at all — one tap and it's logged. 438 EXERCISES Search is the fastest way in, and everything is named so the movement comes first. Every exercise carries written cues: how to set up, how to move, and what to watch for. If the library doesn't have what you're looking for, you can add your own. THINGS WE DON'T DO We don't see your workouts. Everything you log is stored on your phone and nowhere else. There's no account, no sign-in, and no copy on a server. You can export all of it as a file whenever you'd like. We don't sell you more stuff. One payment, one time. No subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel, and no second payment for anything added later. We don't grade you. No streaks, no badges, no notifications asking where you've been. The wheel shows you the balance of your training, and you get to say what that means. THE TRIAL Log twelve workouts for free. The trial counts workouts rather than days, so there's no rush and nothing runs down while you're away. After that, one payment unlocks it permanently. Whatever you have already logged stays visible and exportable either way — a finished trial stops new workouts, never your own history. WHO MADE THIS One person writes this app and answers the support mail. There's no growth target it has to hit — which is part of why it can stay one payment, with no account attached to anything.Read more
A workout log for people who train to feel better, not to compete.
THE SEVEN
Every exercise is organized by what your joints are doing, not by which muscle is sore afterwards.
THE WHEEL
One wedge per movement, over whatever stretch of time you choose. A long wedge is something you've been doing more of. A short wedge, less. It's a picture of balance you can read in a second, and it's something that would be hard to hold in your head for a whole month.
So if you need to bend more, you'll see it. One button starts a workout weighted toward the movements you have been doing least.
LOGGING A SET
Sets don't need typing, and they can be entered with one hand. The app remembers what you did last time, so repeating it is easy.
Not everything is weight and reps. Carries and holds are counted in seconds. For anything you work one side at a time, one rep means both sides. And some work carries no number at all — one tap and it's logged.
438 EXERCISES
Search is the fastest way in, and everything is named so the movement comes first. Every exercise carries written cues: how to set up, how to move, and what to watch for. If the library doesn't have what you're looking for, you can add your own.
THINGS WE DON'T DO
We don't see your workouts.
THE TRIAL
Log twelve workouts for free. The trial counts workouts rather than days, so there's no rush and nothing runs down while you're away.
After that, one payment unlocks it permanently. Whatever you have already logged stays visible and exportable either way — a finished trial stops new workouts, never your own history.
