About
OmniLex is an on-device contract-review and legal-reference tool for lawyers and legal professionals. It is not a lawyer, not a citator, and not legal advice. Five rooms: - You — resume yesterday’s matter or import a contract. - Understand — Legal Reference. Start here walks, then the rest of the library behind Browse. Pack pages show a source footnote under each passage. Not a citator. - Do — a document vault on this device. Reading-priority clauses, grounded Q&A, an exportable report. Analysis uses an on-device model you download only when you choose. - Ask — questions about a clause or a procedure, answered on this device. It appears when Apple Intelligence or a downloaded model can answer; Settings can turn it off. - More — Create, Research, Reports, Settings. On iPad, all of these sit in one sidebar. Inference runs on this device, with Apple Intelligence for Ask where available and MLX for downloaded models. The only download is model weights from Hugging Face, size shown in Settings before it starts. Documents are not uploaded. There is no account. OmniLex does not say whether any opinion remains good law. It does not replace professional judgment. Knowledge and the vault stay free. Optional Pro, from Settings, is semantic search, formatted PDF, and reading-priority review beyond your first document.
