The NOK is an app that connects photos and videos taken by citizens with media outlets. When a tip is sold, points are accumulated and can be withdrawn to an account in your name. ■ How to Submit a Tip 1. Take a Picture Capture the scene with a photo or video. You can take a picture directly using the in-app camera or select one from your gallery. 2. Write a Description A single line describing the event is sufficient. 3. Send It It is delivered to media outlets after verification. ■ What Can You Report Incidents and accidents, natural disasters, social issues, politics, sports, and other matters. ■ Protecting the Informant Media outlets cannot verify the informant's identity. Names and contact information are not shared with the media. In the copies sent to media outlets, recording device information and location records are removed. For photos, all supplementary information is filtered out, and for videos, only the information on the file surface is removed as they are not re-compressed to preserve image quality. You can request a withdrawal to an account in your name, with a minimum withdrawal amount of 10,000 points. Accumulated points are classified as "other income" under the Income Tax Act and are subject to withholding tax upon payment. ■ Important Notes Submitted reports cannot be deleted.
