About

**Reading is practiced aloud.** A syllable appears on the screen, the child says it, the app listens and validates it. At the pace of their class textbook. A child reading silently can guess. A child reading aloud deciphers it—and the mistake is audible. FlashSyllabes listens to each syllable and only validates it if it is actually pronounced, something no multiple-choice exercise can verify. At the Classroom Pace • 40 referenced reading methods: Boscher, Léo et Léa, Pilotis, Taoki, Sam et Julie, Kimamila… • The order of each textbook is respected, page by page • The child works on exactly what the teacher has just covered What You're Tracking • Fluency curve in syllables per minute, based on the reference scales ODÉDYS and ELFE — not a made-up score • Coverage: the different syllables and words already encountered • Detailed breakdown of each session, syllable by syllable, with reaction and pronunciation time Your Own Word Lists The week's vocabulary, words from a dictation exercise, the class's first names: enter or paste them. The app cuts them out and reads them aloud. Adapting to each reader Silent letters in gray, spaced syllables, vowels in red and consonants in blue, uppercase or lowercase, font adapted for dyslexic readers. For whom • Grade 1 — the syllables from the textbook, in the teacher's order • Grade 2 — consolidation, vocabulary, fluency • Remediation — speech therapy and support, up to Grade 6 • Teachers — up to 30 students followed individually Free and subscription The first stages of each textbook are accessible without a subscription, with no time limit or limit on the number of sessions. A subscription unlocks the entire program, personal word lists, and the ability to track multiple children. Family (3 profiles), Teacher (30 students), and Speech Therapist (unlimited) subscriptions are available. Privacy Voice recognition works entirely on the device. No speech is transmitted, and no recordings are kept. The app works 100% offline, with no ads, no account required, and no tracking.Read more
