Capture a thought without rushing to finish it. Say & Save gives you a simple recording flow on iPhone and Apple Watch. RECORD AT YOUR PACE Tap Record, speak, and tap Stop when you are finished. Pauses do not automatically end a recording. LISTEN, ADD, THEN DECIDE Replay your recording as often as you need. Tap + to add more audio to the same recording. Save or delete it before starting a new one. KEEP SAVED RECORDINGS ON BOTH DEVICES Saved recordings transfer between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch when the devices can connect. Rename recordings on either device. Deleting a saved recording removes both copies when the devices next connect. READ AND COPY ON IPHONE Open a saved recording to create a transcript with Apple’s on-device speech technology. Copy the completed text into a note or message. Audio is not uploaded to a transcription service. Transcription depends on your device and language, and an Apple language-model download may be needed. QUICK ACCESS ON APPLE WATCH Open the recorder from a supported watch-face complication. Browse saved recordings with the Digital Crown and adjust volume with the Crown during playback. Requires iOS 26 or later. The companion Watch app requires watchOS 26 or later. Recording length depends on available storage, battery, and system interruptions. No app account is required.
