About

When the zombie apocalypse hits, the cell towers go dark, the map app spins forever, and the only thing still talking to you is the GPS constellation overhead. GPS Complication puts your exact latitude and longitude right on your watch face, pulled straight from the satellites. No cell signal, no Wi-Fi, no internet required. Works with the watch face you already have, so no need to switch faces while the world ends. FOUR STYLES TO FIT ANY COMPLICATION SLOT • Lat & Lon – both coordinates together, latitude over longitude in small slots or on one line in wide ones. • Latitude – a single coordinate with an optional LAT label. • Longitude – a single coordinate with an optional LON label. • City & State – your nearest place name, such as "Mountain View, CA", with the coordinates as a subtitle in wide slots. MADE FOR SMALL SCREENS Coordinates are formatted to fit the tight character limits of watch face slots, with the hemisphere letter (N, S, E, W) instead of a minus sign. Turn the LAT / LON label off and the complication uses the freed space to show more decimal places. SIMPLE SETTINGS • Show or hide the satellite icon. • Show or hide the LAT / LON label. • Choose how often the position updates: every 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Shorter intervals keep you current, longer ones save battery. Changes apply to every GPS complication on your face right away. ALWAYS A TAP AWAY Tap any GPS complication to open the app, where you'll see your full position in decimal degrees and in degrees, minutes and seconds, the nearest city and state, the accuracy of the fix and when it was taken. Tap Refresh for an immediate high-accuracy GPS fix that's pushed straight back to your watch face. WORKS ON ITS OWN Everything runs on the watch. Coordinates come from the watch's own GPS and work anywhere there's a sky. City and state names use a geocoder and need a data connection the first time you're somewhere new. If civilization is offline, the complication shows your coordinates instead, which is what you'll be reading over the radio anyway. ABOUT LOCATION PERMISSION GPS Complication asks for location access, including background access, so complications can refresh while your watch face is showing and the app isn't open. Your position is read on the watch and used only to draw the complications and look up the place name. The phone app is a short setup guide. Everything is installed, permitted and configured on the watch.Read more
