About

Before you share a photo or video, cover the faces, names, phone numbers and addresses that shouldn't be seen. Veil does all of its analysis on your iPhone and iPad, and your originals are never changed. FIND EVERY FACE Import a photo or video and Veil finds the faces in it. You decide who is covered and who stays visible. Veil never covers anything on its own, but it points out the faces that would still show. VIDEO COVERS THAT FOLLOW PEOPLE Choose who to cover and the cover follows them through the video. Moments where tracking lost someone are listed one by one, and export waits until each is covered or confirmed empty, so fewer people slip through. PERSONAL DETAILS, MARKED FOR YOU Veil marks likely names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, house numbers, licence plates, ID cards and screens. Nothing is hidden until you tap Apply, and one more tap undoes it. YOUR STYLE OF COVER Mosaic, blur or solid, or swap a face for an emoji or one of your own stickers. Draw, brush or tap to add covers by hand, make them follow movement and set when they appear. PEOPLE Keep one avatar for each person who often appears, for your own reference. Veil never recognises anyone. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No sign-up, no account • Photos, videos, face data and detections stay on your device • Exports drop location and other metadata • Photos access is asked for only when you tap Save to Photos, and only to add VEIL PRO Veil Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. It handles longer videos, lets you process several photos in one batch, and opens long videos without watching an ad. Every covering tool works without a subscription for photos and shorter videos. Prices are shown in the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
