About
WILDTRACE! – This app is a journey of wildlife exploration where players search for and filter species by name, habitat, or conservation status; open profiles to view characteristics, anatomy, life cycles, evolution, communication signals, and locomotion; and then carry out research activities—such as rehabilitating individuals by balancing health and selecting care plans, formulating behavioral hypotheses and adjusting cover and noise levels, planning foraging routes based on energy, time, and risk, classifying footage from four camera traps for population statistics, matching patterns against individual records, aligning DNA samples with reference sequences, and mapping herd networks. Conservation missions require allocating rangers, camera traps, and drones within budget limits; selecting evidence and arranging timelines to solve cases; and balancing a coexistence budget across residents, science, and conservation. A creative zone allows for drafting four-step field missions, designing bird nests using at least two materials to test against wind, rain, or storms, and matching biological traits with model components to evaluate effectiveness. Saved discoveries can be displayed in three museum slots without duplication, while all results and journey details are recorded in a field log; data is saved locally for offline use, with a focus on self-observation, evidence matching, completing mission chains, and reviewing achievements.Read more
