About
Every car ends up with a glovebox full of paper: the registration renewal, the certificate of insurance, a roadworthy from two owners ago and a receipt for tyres you barely remember buying. Glovebox Keeper turns that pile into something you can actually find, and it never lets an expiry date sneak up on you. Photograph a paper with the built-in scanner, or pick a photo you already took. Add the expiry date, choose how many weeks of warning you want, and the reminder is set. You get a nudge weeks ahead and another the day before, so renewing is a five-minute job instead of a fine. WHAT LIVES IN THE GLOVEBOX - Registration, insurance, CTP, driver licence, roadworthy, safety certificate or Warrant of Fitness - Roadside assistance membership, toll account, warranty, finance and anything else worth keeping - Up to six photos per paper, plus the issuer, policy number and your own notes - A roadside card that puts your licence, rego and insurance on screen, big and bright, when someone asks for them SERVICE AND FUEL LOGS - Log a service with the date, odometer, workshop, cost and a photo of the receipt - See what is due next, worked out from the interval for that job and how far you actually drive - Log fuel at the pump and watch your economy per tank in L/100 km, mpg or km, with spend for the last month THE ROADSIDE KIT - A checklist of what should be in the boot, grouped by safety, tyres, power, supplies, remote travel and paperwork - Presets for the daily commute, a weekend at the coast, outback and remote runs, alpine snow, the wet season up north and gravel back roads - Reminders to refresh the things that go off: water, sunscreen, first aid supplies, jump packs - A pre-trip check to run before a long drive, and a five-minute driveway check each week that builds a streak ROAD GUIDE Thirty short, practical articles written for Australian and New Zealand roads: registration and inspection paperwork, tyre tread and pressure, jump starting, overheating, flooded roads, bushfire season, snow chains, wildlife at dusk, towing, fatigue and what to do after a bump. BUILT TO STAY PRIVATE Everything is stored on your phone or iPad. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no cloud and no ads, and the app makes no network requests at all. Reminders are scheduled on the device. Erase everything from Settings whenever you like. ALSO INSIDE - A home screen widget in three sizes showing what is due next - Search across papers, services, fuel stops, kit and the guide, forgiving of typos - A sticker book of eighteen small wins for looking after your car - Dark mode, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels and a proper iPad layout - Free, with no in-app purchases and no subscriptionRead more
