Bahujan

Bahujan is an invite-only app for the Ambedkarite community in Melbourne: a place to ask for help, give it, and look out for one another. SEVA: ASK AND HELP Need a room for a few weeks, help with an assignment, a lift, or advice on your first job? Post a request and members who can help see it first. Accept a request, talk it through in a private chat, and mark it resolved when it's done. Every resolved request is counted, so the help our community gives is seen. HOME Community announcements, pinned where everyone sees them, and posts from members. React, comment, reply, mention someone, and save posts for later. EVENTS Study circles, lunches, celebrations and talks, hosted by the committee or any member. RSVP, join the waitlist when an event is full, ask the host a question, add it to your calendar, and get a reminder the day before. LEARN Illustrated courses on Ambedkarite thought and history, starting with Annihilation of Caste: short readings, recap cards, quizzes, and a certificate when you finish. DIRECTORY Find members by what they study, where they work, and what they can help with, and message them directly. SAFE BY DESIGN Zero tolerance for caste-based abuse. Every post, comment, request, message and profile can be reported and is reviewed within 24 hours. Block anyone at any time. No ads, no tracking, and your data is never sold. Bahujan is invite-only: ask a member for an invite code. For ages 18 and over.
