syncd keeps a family on the same page. Everyone in your circle on one live map, with the lists, the calendar and the photographs you already share, in one app. One subscription covers the whole circle. Everyone gets everything the moment one person subscribes, so nobody in the house is left on a lesser version for not paying. YOUR LOCATION, YOUR CIRCLE Your location goes to the people you have approved, and nobody else. Everyone on that map joined the circle themselves, and can leave whenever they want. There are no ads in syncd, at any plan, and there never will be. No advertising identifier, no data broker, no third-party analytics or crash tracking. We do not sell your family's data. It is stored with Google Firebase — the infrastructure millions of apps are built on — and protected on the server, not on your phone, so a tampered copy cannot read another family's data. Nor are you watched more closely than you expect. No read receipts, and a copy of everything your circle holds is a button in your profile. Location sharing is a switch: turn it off and your position stops being written and the map says you are not sharing. Delete your account and your data goes with it. A MAP THAT TELLS THE TRUTH A pin is only shown as live while its fix is fresh. After a few minutes it fades, says when that person was last seen, and gets a dashed ring instead of pretending to be current. A 65-metre fix shows a visible uncertainty ring. You will never be shown a confident dot that means nothing. History is a real window, not a hidden one: seven days on Free, thirty on paid, and older history is deleted automatically. THE EVERYDAY THINGS • The shared calendar, RSVPs and reminders • The shopping list, on every wrist in the house • Chores, with a photo as proof • Notes, links and shared whiteboards • Chat, as the family thread or a private one ARRIVE AND LEAVE Save the places that matter and syncd tells you when someone arrives or leaves. Each place keeps its own hours, so the alert says something useful: left school early, running late from work. WHERE THE DAY WENT A weekly driving report from your location history: distance, top speed and rapid slowdowns, day by day. SAFETY SOS is included on every plan, and always will be. It works with no signal, queued on the phone and delivered the moment it finds one. Paid plans add possible-collision detection: the phone notices a hard jolt and no movement, then asks whether you are okay. Treat it as a helpful prompt, never as a substitute for emergency services. THE SCRAPBOOK The family's photographs in one place, big enough to fill any phone screen, with a Recently Deleted bin for second thoughts. Family includes 100 GB of shared photo storage. FREE AND FAMILY Free is a real app: four people, the live map, chat, the shared calendar and lists, SOS, two saved places and seven days of history. Family adds ten seats, thirty days of history, driving reports, unlimited places, notes, links and reminders, arrive-and-leave alerts, whiteboards, the scrapbook and unlimited chat history — $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Family Plus is the same plan with seats for twenty-five people — $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year. One circle per account. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
