About
Resold is the simple profit and tax tracker for people who sell on Vinted, Depop, eBay and other marketplaces in the UK. Log a sale in seconds, keep every receipt, and always know your real profit after fees and postage. When Self Assessment comes round, your numbers are ready. Start with a 7 day free trial. WHAT IT DOES - Add sales and stock in a few taps, with platform fees and postage worked out for you - See your real profit per item, per month and per tax year - Track expenses like packaging, postage supplies and sourcing trips - Spot stock that has been sitting unsold so you can reprice or relist - Import past sales from a CSV file - Check this month's profit at a glance with home screen widgets HMRC REPORTING RULES, EXPLAINED SIMPLY Since 1 January 2024, UK marketplaces have to send HMRC details of sellers who make 30 or more sales, or receive about £1,700 or more, in a calendar year on that platform. Being reported does not automatically mean you owe tax. Selling your own unwanted things is usually not taxable. Buying things to sell on for a profit usually counts as trading. Resold shows how close you are to each threshold on each platform, so nothing comes as a surprise. THE £1,000 TRADING ALLOWANCE If your total trading income before costs is £1,000 or less in a tax year (6 April to 5 April), you usually do not need to tell HMRC about it. Resold tracks your takings against the allowance all year and lets you know when you are getting close. RECEIPTS Snap a receipt and Resold reads the shop, date and total for you, so the cost of every item you buy is saved with proof. No more lost paper receipts. Scan as many receipts as you like. TAX PACK One tap builds your Tax Pack: income, cost of stock, expenses and profit for the tax year as a PDF and CSV, ready for your Self Assessment return or your accountant. NO BOTS, NO BAN RISK Resold never logs into your marketplace accounts, never automates listings and never asks for your marketplace passwords. You add sales yourself, ring them up on the in person till, or import a CSV. Your selling accounts stay safe. PRICING Resold needs a subscription. Start with a 7 day free trial of Resold Pro, then pay £49.99 a year or £6.99 a month. Cancel any time. - Pro Annual: £49.99 a year after a 7 day free trial - Pro Monthly: £6.99 a month after a 7 day free trial Every plan includes unlimited sales, stock and expenses, unlimited receipt scans, an in person till for markets and car boots, stale stock insights, the Tax Pack and a full export of your data.
