Pathtale: Friends & Memories

Your path, shared with the people who matter. Pathtale is a privacy-first app for sharing your location with the friends you choose, keeping a private history of the places in your life, and making memories together. You decide what each friend sees, and every privacy control is free. LIVE LOCATION, ON YOUR TERMS • Becoming friends shares nothing. Choose Precise, Approximate area, Delayed or Ghost for each friend, or go into Ghost Mode for a while. • See your friends on one map, showing only as much as each of them chooses to share. • Tap a friend to see how long they've been there and their battery, wave, or send "On my way" with a live ETA. • "Who can see me" lists everyone you share with, and you can change it at any time. GHOST MODE WHENEVER YOU NEED • Ghost Mode for one friend or for everyone: for 15 minutes, a few hours, just for today, or until you turn it off. • Show "At home" instead of a map point, or delay or blur what friends see. • Near your home, work and places you mark private, friends don't see where you are unless you choose to show them. TODAY AND TIMELINE: YOUR LIFE HISTORY • Turn on Life History and Today shows your day: the places you spent time, your drives and the cities you visited. • Browse your Timeline by day, week or all time, and look back at your top places and cities. • Life History is off until you turn it on, and you choose how long it's kept. Shorten it or delete it any time. MEMORIES AND MESSAGES • Capture the front and back cameras in one shot, add a note and the place, and tag who was there. • Pick who sees each memory: All friends, Selected friends or Private. • Message friends, send voice memos and photos, and see when they've read them if you both keep read receipts on. • Photos are re-saved without their location and camera details before upload. EVENTS, TRIPS AND STREAKS • Plan an event, invite friends and see who's Going, Maybe or Can't go. • Pathtale gathers your days away into trips, with the cities you visited and the flights in between. Trip plans are private. • Keep hangout streaks with friends and weekly workout streaks at your gym. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • No ads. We never sell your personal information or use your location or history for advertising. • Raw GPS points are kept for 7 days by default, never more than 30. • Delete an item, a date range or everything, or download a copy of your data, always free. • Delete your account right in the app. Pathtale is for people 18 and older. Using Pathtale to track someone without their knowledge or consent is against our Terms. Location may be approximate, delayed, or intentionally obscured based on the user's privacy settings. Do not rely on location sharing for emergencies or personal safety. Privacy Policy: https://pathtale.app/privacy Terms of Service: https://pathtale.app/terms
