Yutou Writer

Yutou Writer is a writing tool for authors who publish serialized fiction on our platform. Start with your first chapter draft and take your book all the way to publication, reader feedback and a publishing contract, right from your iPhone. CREATE A BOOK • Add a title, synopsis, category, tags and a cover (PNG or JPEG, up to 3 MB). • Submit your first chapter for review. Your book goes live once the book details and first chapter pass the platform's review. You can also reach the required word count first and submit to an editor. WRITE WITHOUT LOSING WORK • Your text saves to your device about half a second after you stop typing, and you can keep writing offline. • Tap "Save and sync" when you're online. Drafts sync to your account, so you can continue on another device. • Every sync is kept in the version history. Restore an earlier version as a new draft while keeping the original. • If the version on the server has changed, the app tells you, so you can copy your local text or save it as a new draft. • Insert images into a chapter. Chapters with images are reviewed before readers can see them. STATS AND DAILY DATA • See readers currently reading, bookshelf adds, update requests and ratings. • View daily data for a single day or a date range of up to 366 days. • Check reads, read-through rate and update requests chapter by chapter to see where readers drop off. • See which channels readers came from. READER COMMENTS • See readers' comments on each of your books. • Every comment has a "…" menu with "Report" and "Block this user". You won't see content from a user you've blocked, and you can unblock them under Blocked users. CONTRACTS • Apply for a contract after your book goes live, or submit to an editor while you're still writing. • When an editor sends you a contract offer, read the contract and sign it in the app. Track your application and the editor's feedback. AUTHOR BENEFITS AND FULL-ATTENDANCE BONUS • Under Benefits, check the full-attendance bonus requirements, this month's updates and your bonus history. AUTHOR LEVEL • See your current level, level points and growth points, and how far you are from the next level. • The level rules are explained in the app, and points are recalculated daily from the latest data. MESSAGES • Review results, contract updates, full-attendance bonus notices and platform announcements appear in Messages. You can also open readers' comments on each book from here. ACCOUNT AND PRIVACY • Sign in with your phone number or email. • Read the User Agreement and Privacy Policy under Me → Privacy and terms, and delete your account under Account and security. • Find our support email under Me → Contact us. Yutou Writer is free, with no in-app purchases and no ads.
