About

FarmZone Amend turns soil lab sheets into clear, crop-specific amendment tickets—so you stop guessing lime, gypsum, sulfur, and fertilizer rates before you spread a single bag. Built for market gardeners, orchardists, pasture managers, and serious home growers who already pay for chemistry reports and need exact product rates, not more jargon. HOW IT WORKS • Create named fields with acreage or bed square-footage, region notes, and sampling depth • Enter full soil-report panels: pH, buffer pH, organic matter, CEC, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, and base-saturation percents—or use optional Vision-assisted capture from a paper report photo with manual confirm before values lock • Pick a crop or mix target (fruiting veg, leafy greens, brassicas, corn, alfalfa/pasture, acid-loving berries, tree fruit) and see live range meters that flag low and high nutrients against ideal bands • Generate lime requirement from buffer pH and target pH, choosing calcitic vs dolomitic lime with calcium-carbonate equivalent, pounds-per-acre, and split-application suggestions • Build acidification or calcium paths with elemental sulfur or gypsum when pH is high or Ca is low, with practical single-season safety caps • Compose N-P-K and micronutrient recipes from a built-in catalog of bagged fertilizers plus organic sources (compost, feather meal, bone meal, kelp, greensand); toggle sources and watch the blend recalculate • Review layered before/after charts for pH and major cations • Export a printable, crew-ready amendment ticket with product list, lbs/acre, grams/bed-foot, spreader pass notes, and incorporate timing (pre-plant vs sidedress) FIRST LAUNCH, REAL TICKETS Open a seeded library—tomato block, blueberry row, new pasture, orchard alley—so you see full worked examples immediately, not empty screens. SAMPLING & HISTORY Browse a soil-sampling protocol and horizon guide (texture-by-feel cues, composite patterns, depth rules). Save multiple report versions per field and compare seasons on device. OFFLINE BY DESIGN No accounts. No paywall. No cloud required. One place to convert lab chemistry into rates your crew can actually use in the field.Read more
