iAlexis

iAlexis puts the school day on the iPhone Lock Screen. A small widget shows how many whole minutes remain in the current lesson ("12 of #5" means 12 minutes left in lesson 5) or until the next lesson starts ("#5 in 4", with a coffee cup, during a break). A pupil, student or teacher sees the time left with one glance, without unlocking the phone or opening an app. During the last three minutes the widget switches to black text on a white panel; outside the school day it stays empty. HOW IT WORKS • The lesson times come from a plain text file, Schedules.txt, with one line per lesson and a section per weekday. A ready-made timetable is built in; to use your own, place an edited copy in the iAlexis folder of the Files app (the app creates the copy for you). • Tap "Create a demo schedule for right now" and a lesson starts immediately, so you can watch the widget work at any hour. • The app shows a live preview of the widget, the timetable of every weekday and a step-by-step guide for adding the widget to the Lock Screen (iOS only lets you add widgets by hand). Both the one-line widget above the clock and the rectangular widget below it are supported. • Widget appearance: choose the font (SF Rounded, SF, New York, SF Mono, Avenir Next, Georgia and more) and its size, or hide the lessons entirely. VIP MESSAGES (OPTIONAL) Apps cannot read your messages on iOS. Instead, the Shortcuts app can react when a message arrives from a number you list in VIP_senders.txt and run the iAlexis action "Mark VIP message received"; the widget then shows "VIP msg at HH:MM" until you tap it (on an unlocked phone) or clear it in the app. The guide in the app explains the two automations step by step. PRIVACY iAlexis works completely offline. It never connects to the internet or any network, has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code, and it collects no data. Everything stays on your iPhone. Requires iOS 27.
