About

Ogmntd brings paper to life: point the camera at a worksheet, a drawing or a poster – and a video plays right there, in perspective and with sound. FOR STUDENTS • Open the app, scan the channel's QR code, done – no account, no sign-in. • Point the camera at the worksheet and the explainer video appears on the paper. • Works offline too: videos are saved on the device. FOR TEACHERS • Sign in with your school's own Nextcloud – your password is only entered on the Nextcloud page. • Create channels and print the channel card with its QR code, or put it right on the worksheet. • Photograph a trigger image: a live meter shows whether it will be recognized well. Sheets photographed at an angle are straightened automatically. • Record a video or pick one from your library, then place, rotate, scale and tilt it on the real sheet with simple gestures. • Remove green screen backgrounds with an eyedropper – so an explainer character can stand right on the worksheet. • Three playback modes: on the sheet, anchored in the room, or full screen. • Large videos are compressed and uploaded in chunks. On poor Wi-Fi, uploads resume automatically later. PRIVACY • No tracking, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs. • All content is stored only on your school's Nextcloud – never with us. • Camera images are processed on the device only and are never saved or transmitted. Ogmntd runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. Creating content requires a Nextcloud; viewing only needs a channel's QR code.Read more

Versions

  1. Version 1.0.1First seen · 9 Oct 2026

Improved sign-in for teachers: • Some school Nextcloud servers lose the sign-in after “Grant access”. Ogmntd now detects this, explains the problem and offers to sign in with an app password, with step-by-step instructions. • A note for the Nextcloud admin can be shared directly. • Clearer error messages when sign-in fails, for example because of a web filter, firewall or too many sign-in attempts from the school network.
