Racing games give you cars. Racercade gives you the train too. DRIVE THE TRAIN Two tracks are nothing but railway: Rail Yard at night and the Alpine Express through the snow. Four rails side by side, tap a side of the screen to change track, overtake the other trains and dodge the freight wagons parked on your line. Nitro on the straights, a station platform at the grid, signals and level crossings along the way. AND THE REST OF THE RACE On the other tracks the vehicle changes mid-lap: drive to the pier and hop into a speedboat, reach the station and board the train, then back into the car for the finish. Twelve tracks with their own scenery, light and music: Neon Night, Harbor, Canyon at sunset, City Loop, Lakeside, Desert Run, Mountain Pass, Rail Yard, Airfield, Stadium, Alpine Express and the Grand Finale. Hills, lit tunnels and a footbridge full of spectators keep the laps varied. ARCADE HANDLING Touch the sides of the screen to steer, or switch to tilt. Brake, hit DRIFT to slide through the bends and earn a mini turbo, collect nitro canisters and use them on the straights. Ramps, cones and pushable blocks. Three AI rivals, three difficulty levels. EARN AND UNLOCK Every race pays points; podiums pay more, and a short video can double them. Spend them in the garage on nine more cars in eight colours and eleven speedboats.
