About

One hundred and twenty-nine sacred places, already on your phone before you leave the tarmac behind. Sacred Motorcycle Trails is an offline atlas of documented Islamic heritage sites — the resting places of prophets, companions, scholars, saints and Sufi masters, and the great historic mosques — across 29 countries from Andalusia to Java. It was built for riders who cover long distances alone and cannot rely on a signal when they arrive. AN ATLAS, NOT A FEED Browse by country with per-country counts and photography, search the full text, or read the list of nearby sites sorted by distance from where you stand. A dark map with clustered gold markers keeps the detail readable at a glance. THE GREAT MOSQUES, BY TRADITION Historic mosques are sorted by the school that built them rather than thrown together: Umayyad and early hypostyle halls, Anatolian and Ottoman domes, Persian and Timurid tilework, Mughal sandstone and faience, African and Sahelian mud architecture, and the timber-framed mosques of East and Southeast Asia. Córdoba, Samarra, Djenné, Isfahan, Edirne, Lahore, Xi'an and Kudus each carry their own history and sources. JOURNEYS MEASURED IN DAYS Eleven curated multi-day routes are laid out stop by stop, with distances and riding notes between sites — the Andalusian mosque route, Sinan's Ottoman domes, the Persian tile road, Transoxiana, Mughal Punjab, the Java wali trail and more. Hand any route to Apple Maps for turn-by-turn navigation, or export it as a GPX file for a dedicated GPS unit. DOWNLOAD THE MAP BEFORE YOU GO Offline map packs are downloaded by region before departure, and the exact download size is shown before anything starts. Once a pack is stored, the atlas, the site pages and the journeys work with no connection at all. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IS KNOWN Each site page carries its history, its significance, practical visitor information and its sources. Where an attribution is disputed among historians, or rests on local tradition alone, it is labelled as such. Where a country is unsafe to ride, the riding notes say so plainly instead of pretending otherwise. YOUR PROGRESS, MARKED BY HAND Save the sites you intend to visit and mark your own progress along a route yourself. Nothing is inferred from your GPS, and nothing is guessed on your behalf. OPTIONAL SIGN-IN Everything works without an account. If you want your saved sites, journeys and ride progress on more than one device, you can sign in with Apple or Google — and that is the only reason to. SACRED TRAILS ACCESS The full atlas is one subscription: Sacred Trails Access, CHF 14.90 per month or CHF 49.90 per year, billed to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings. Prices may vary by region. No advertising. No tracking. No account required. Download the regions you plan to ride, and set off. Terms of Use: https://zvhhfbrm1rdf7r3imykq7-web.rork.live/termsRead more
