About

FretLogic shows you what to play over any chord progression, so you can stop memorizing other people's music and start improvising your own. Start with a chord progression and FretLogic automatically maps the fretboard to the key and scale. Dial in the right level of note detail by quickly toggling between chord voicings, arpeggios, pentatonics, and full scales. FretLogic highlights the chord tones so you can see which notes to target while building lead lines. Every chord is explained in the context of the progression: why it works, and which chord tones to aim for as the next change arrives. One-time purchase. Native versions for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, with all your progressions synced through iCloud. OTHER FEATURES - Metronome that automatically advances the chords as you practice - Chord suggestions, including secondary dominants and borrowed chords, to give your progression more movement - Selectively enable positions of the fretboard to help you focus. All positions are based on the CAGED shapes, so they double as practice references - Triad highlighting across all string sets and inversions - Drag chord voicings anywhere on the neck for an instant reference to play the progression in any position - Build chord progressions with sections (verse, chorus, bridge) - Paste chord charts that contain sections and lyrics, and FretLogic automatically pulls out the chords - Mac keyboard shortcuts WHY I BUILT THIS I love the guitar, and I wanted to become more expressive with the instrument instead of being stuck in the rut of memorizing other people's music. I found that fretboard fluency means integrating several concepts in real time: chord theory, keys, scales, finger positions, and basic music theory. All of it comes down to knowing what chords to play and which notes to target in those chords to build melodic phrases. Give FretLogic the chords, and it puts all of that in front of you, focused on the progressions you're actually learning. I truly appreciate your support.Read more
