About
CHECK UNFAMILIAR SPACES WITH MORE CONFIDENCE LensSentinel brings five practical privacy inspection tools together on your iPhone. Whether you are staying in a hotel, rental, or another unfamiliar space, you can choose the tool you need and perform a guided check at your own pace. FIVE INSPECTION TOOLS LENS REFLECTION Use the rear camera and flashlight to inspect smoke detectors, clocks, outlets, televisions, mirrors, and other objects from different angles. LensSentinel provides a camera-first workspace that helps you compare reflective points during a manual inspection. INFRARED LIGHT Darken the room and move your iPhone slowly to look for possible infrared light sources. LensSentinel observes persistent bright regions in the rear-camera preview and helps you identify areas that may deserve closer inspection. Bright regions can also come from reflections, ordinary lights, electronic devices, or camera image processing. BLUETOOTH SCAN Scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy broadcasts visible to iOS. Review advertised device names, signal strength, reception counts, and limited broadcast information. Use Signal Tracking to compare relative signal changes as you move around the room. Signal strength is only a directional clue and does not provide an exact distance or confirm a device's identity. LOCAL NETWORK SCAN Review Bonjour services visible on the Wi-Fi network connected to your iPhone. LensSentinel displays available service names and types to help you understand what may be present on the network. Hotel and public Wi-Fi networks may isolate connected devices, so scan results may be incomplete. MAGNETIC FIELD Use the iPhone magnetometer to compare magnetic-field changes near outlets, clocks, fixtures, and other objects. LensSentinel automatically establishes a local baseline, so no separate calibration step is required. Magnets, MagSafe accessories, metal structures, wiring, speakers, appliances, and ordinary electronics can all affect magnetic readings. QUICK AND FLEXIBLE • Open any tool directly from the home screen • Complete the tools in any order • Stop Bluetooth scans whenever you are ready • Mark observations that deserve another look • Review completed tools and marked items in the current-session summary • Use the interface in English or Simplified Chinese PRIVACY BY DESIGN Your inspection stays on your device. • No account required • Camera frames are not saved or uploaded • Bluetooth and local-network scan results are not uploaded to a developer-operated server • Magnetometer readings remain on your iPhone • No advertising SDKs • No cross-app tracking TRY BEFORE YOU UNLOCK LensSentinel includes three free inspection sessions with access to all five tools. After the free sessions, unlimited checks are available through a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase. No subscription. Pricing is provided by the App Store for your region. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS LensSentinel is an inspection assistant, not professional surveillance-detection equipment. Its results are observations and clues that support a careful manual check. No iPhone app can guarantee that a space is safe or detect every hidden device. A signal, reflection, bright region, network service, or magnetic change does not prove that an object is a camera or tracking device.Read more
CHECK UNFAMILIAR SPACES WITH MORE CONFIDENCE
LensSentinel brings five practical privacy inspection tools together on your iPhone. Whether you are staying in a
hotel, rental, or another unfamiliar space, you can choose the tool you need and perform a guided check at your
own pace.
FIVE INSPECTION TOOLS
LENS REFLECTION
Use the rear camera and flashlight to inspect smoke detectors, clocks, outlets, televisions, mirrors, and other
objects from different angles. LensSentinel provides a camera-first workspace that helps you compare reflective
points during a manual inspection.
INFRARED LIGHT
Darken the room and move your iPhone slowly to look for possible infrared light sources. LensSentinel observes
persistent bright regions in the rear-camera preview and helps you identify areas that may deserve closer
inspection.
Bright regions can also come from reflections, ordinary lights, electronic devices, or camera image processing.
BLUETOOTH SCAN
Scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy broadcasts visible to iOS. Review advertised device names, signal strength,
reception counts, and limited broadcast information.
Use Signal Tracking to compare relative signal changes as you move around the room. Signal strength is only a
directional clue and does not provide an exact distance or confirm a device's identity.
LOCAL NETWORK SCAN
Review Bonjour services visible on the Wi-Fi network connected to your iPhone. LensSentinel displays available
service names and types to help you understand what may be present on the network.
Hotel and public Wi-Fi networks may isolate connected devices, so scan results may be incomplete.
MAGNETIC FIELD
Use the iPhone magnetometer to compare magnetic-field changes near outlets, clocks, fixtures, and other objects.
LensSentinel automatically establishes a local baseline, so no separate calibration step is required.
Magnets, MagSafe accessories, metal structures, wiring, speakers, appliances, and ordinary electronics can all
affect magnetic readings.
QUICK AND FLEXIBLE
• Open any tool directly from the home screen
• Complete the tools in any order
• Stop Bluetooth scans whenever you are ready
• Mark observations that deserve another look
• Review completed tools and marked items in the current-session summary
• Use the interface in English or Simplified Chinese
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Your inspection stays on your device.
• No account required
• Camera frames are not saved or uploaded
• Bluetooth and local-network scan results are not uploaded to a developer-operated server
• Magnetometer readings remain on your iPhone
• No advertising SDKs
• No cross-app tracking
TRY BEFORE YOU UNLOCK
LensSentinel includes three free inspection sessions with access to all five tools. After the free sessions,
unlimited checks are available through a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase.
No subscription. Pricing is provided by the App Store for your region.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
LensSentinel is an inspection assistant, not professional surveillance-detection equipment. Its results are
observations and clues that support a careful manual check.
No iPhone app can guarantee that a space is safe or detect every hidden device. A signal, reflection, bright
region, network service, or magnetic change does not prove that an object is a camera or tracking device.
