KoeTsugi lets people who speak different languages talk to each other, just by speaking into the phones they already carry. What you say reaches the other person translated into their language. Phones nearby connect to each other directly, so you can talk even without an internet connection. ■ People connect on the spot and talk - Pick a translated conversation happening nearby from the list and join it - If it is not in the list, show an invite QR code, or join with the 8-digit invite code - No account, no sign-in ■ Talk without the internet - Devices connect to each other directly. No Bluetooth pairing needed - If the other person's language is not on your device yet, an internet connection is needed to download the language model for it ■ Group conversations - Families, companions, several staff members — three or more people can talk together - Everyone speaks, reads and writes in their own language ■ For counters and front desks - Turn on "Translate on this phone" in Settings, and what you say is translated on your phone before it is sent - The other person can start talking right away, without waiting for a language model ■ Keeping conversations from leaking - Audio, text and translations are never saved on the device or on a server on their own - Traffic between devices is encrypted ■ Where it helps - Restaurants and shops: taking orders, explaining a product - Hotel front desks - Tourist information, stations, taxis - Hospitals and government counters You can talk in any language your phone supports. When you meet someone whose language is not installed yet, the language model for it is downloaded. (Wi-Fi recommended.) For a limited time, every feature is free while we gather your feedback. * Machine translation has limits. For anything that matters — medical, legal or an emergency — please do not rely on the translation alone; writing things down for each other also helps. * To join a conversation, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi needs to be on.
