About
crushedwithit is the writing room, the rehearsal room and the stage, for stand-up comics who work on their material. WRITE, AND KNOW WHY IT WORKS Answer questions about your own life and the app finds the premises hiding in the answers. Every line it helps you write comes with its reasoning: the mechanism, the assumption the setup plants, and the word the laugh hangs on. A line without that reasoning is not saved. The editor flags a laugh line that does not end on its punch word. BRING WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE Import years of notes from Apple Notes, Google Keep or a text file. Everything is sorted into answers, premises and jokes, and you see each one before anything is kept. Record a voice note on the drive home and it is transcribed on your device. REHEARSE THE WAY YOU PERFORM Flashcards that hide the lines you lean on. A voice run that listens as you say the set out loud and marks the punch words you fumbled. A prompter that follows your voice while you film yourself, on your own device. ON STAGE Big type on black, your set list and a light timer. Your Apple Watch follows along on your wrist: the bit you are on, the clock to the light with a tap when it comes, and a thumb up or down for each joke. WHAT THE ROOM ACTUALLY DID Record the set and the app listens to the room, on your device: where the laughs came, how long they ran, which line earned them, and where the silences opened. Afterwards you get the show joke by joke, and a Show Report you can send. YOUR DOUBLE AND REELS (STAGE PLANS) Pass a face check, film yourself once, and your double can perform your bits as short reels. Every reel it performs is labelled as AI-generated on every frame and carries a signed record inside the file. A five-second clip of you goes to our video partner, BytePlus, to render the reels, and is deleted when you delete your double. Before you record, the app names the service and tells you exactly what is sent. Share a reel with a few people through Private Mic: a link that lasts seven days and shows you where they laughed. EVERY DEVICE YOU OWN iPhone for the stage and your pocket. iPad for the writing desk and a prompter on a stand. Mac as the writing room. Apple Watch on your wrist on stage. Your material syncs through your own private iCloud, and one subscription covers all four. YOUR MATERIAL IS ALWAYS YOURS Your library lives on your device and in your private iCloud. Transcription and laugh detection run on the device. Text you ask for help with goes to our AI writing provider, Anthropic, which does not train on it. There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. If your subscription lapses, everything you wrote stays readable, editable, exportable and performable, and Stage mode and flashcards keep working. PLANS Writer: the interview, sets with reasons, audio notes, the prompter, flashcards and Stage mode. Stage: everything in Writer, plus live show analysis, the voice run, coaching, your double and reels, and a bigger monthly balance. Stage + Video: everything in Stage, with the largest monthly balance for reels. Writer and Stage start with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. Stage + Video has no trial. Reloads add credit when a month runs out, and reload credit never expires. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in your Apple Account settings. For adults, 18 and over. Terms: https://crushedwithit.com/terms Privacy: https://crushedwithit.com/privacyRead more

WRITE, AND KNOW WHY IT WORKS
Answer questions about your own life and the app finds the premises hiding in the answers. Every line it helps you write comes with its reasoning: the mechanism, the assumption the setup plants, and the word the laugh hangs on. A line without that reasoning is not saved. The editor flags a laugh line that does not end on its punch word.
BRING WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
Import years of notes from Apple Notes, Google Keep or a text file. Everything is sorted into answers, premises and jokes, and you see each one before anything is kept. Record a voice note on the drive home and it is transcribed on your device.
REHEARSE THE WAY YOU PERFORM
Flashcards that hide the lines you lean on. A voice run that listens as you say the set out loud and marks the punch words you fumbled. A prompter that follows your voice while you film yourself, on your own device.
ON STAGE
Big type on black, your set list and a light timer. Your Apple Watch follows along on your wrist: the bit you are on, the clock to the light with a tap when it comes, and a thumb up or down for each joke.
WHAT THE ROOM ACTUALLY DID
Record the set and the app listens to the room, on your device: where the laughs came, how long they ran, which line earned them, and where the silences opened. Afterwards you get the show joke by joke, and a Show Report you can send.

Before you record, the app names the service and tells you exactly what is sent. Share a reel with a few people through Private Mic: a link that lasts seven days and shows you where they laughed.
