Timbre Dock

Timbre Dock is an independent companion app for the Artiphon Orba 2. Connect over USB or Bluetooth MIDI and work with everything on the instrument from your iPhone. • Beats — a drum loop editor on a step grid. Start from Rock, Funk, Disco, Blues Shuffle, Swing or Waltz, set velocity per hit, preview on the Orba's own kit, and send the loop to the instrument as a song you can overdub. • Library — every song on the Orba 2 and your phone in one list, with cover photos. Browse sound packs and individual sounds, mix them freely, delete what you no longer need. • Save the loop you just played — as a complete song, on the instrument and on your phone. • Sample — record or import your own sounds (GarageBand, Files, AirDrop) and upload them as playable kits and instruments. Pitch is detected automatically. • Twelve original Timbre Dock sound sets built in: guitar, electric bass, kalimba, handpan, a classic drum set and more. • Save as music — record a full loop as an audio file for iMovie. Timbre Dock never overwrites anything on the instrument and never touches its firmware. No account, no ads, no tracking. Free to try for 7 days with every feature. After that, unlock Timbre Dock with a one-time purchase — no subscription. Requires an Artiphon Orba 2. Saving loops, sending songs and uploading sounds need a USB connection (USB-C, or a Lightning-to-USB camera adapter); playing, settings, the library and building beats also work over Bluetooth. Timbre Dock is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Artiphon Inc. "Orba" and "Artiphon" are trademarks of Artiphon Inc., used only to identify compatible hardware.
