FocusHearth

FocusHearth is a warm writing desk for one task at a time. You sit down, write a single line with a steady hand, and light a lamp — not a stack of frantic timers. Sessions live on the blotter as sittings: a title, an intention, a warmup note, a priority (gentle, steady, or pressing), and a planned length. Light a sitting to begin a lighting ritual. When the wick finishes, the sitting is banked so you can write a handoff before the desk goes cold. Search sittings, filter by priority or status, and return to the slip still on the blotter after a restart. Lists are paper trays — morning spread, deep pages, correspondence, kitchen quiet, or rest. Each tray holds slips with context notes, a time of day, estimates, optional milestones, and completion. Today’s spread gathers open slips by morning, afternoon, evening, and untimed windows. Search, filter by priority or time, and sort a tray without turning it into a grid of repetitions. Timers are wick recipes, not looping pomodoros. Each recipe burns once through a warmup wick, a focus glow, and a quiet reset. Skip ahead to the quiet reset, dim the lamp early, or light a recipe beside the sitting still on the blotter. Recent wicks stay as a short history. Reflections are evening ash: what settled, what frayed, what to light next, and a warmth mark. A lamp-hour pulse shows when your wick actually held during the last week, with a plain-language insight — not an office chart. Quiet hours dim the desk. Starting a pressing sitting during those hours asks you to keep it quiet or light anyway. Choose System, Light, or Dark appearance. A default wick recipe is remembered. Everything stays on this iPhone. Changes are saved atomically with a last-good copy if a file is damaged. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no tracking. Rate App opens the App Store.
