Currency, an up-to-date exchange rate from yours, and how easy ATMs are to find. • Emergency numbers. Police, ambulance, fire. Tap to dial. • Visa rules for your passport. Whether you need one, how long you can stay, and any border health certificates. • Official travel advice. The government advisory level, and the reason behind it. • Health. Vaccines, malaria and mosquito-borne disease advice. • Your embassy. Your passport country's embassy or nearest consulate, with address and contact details where listed. • LGBTQ+ laws. Whether same-sex activity is legal, the maximum penalty where it isn't, and laws restricting expression. • Getting around. Driving side, which international driving permit to get, and the ride-hailing apps that work there. • Staying connected. Calling code and the travel eSIM sellers that cover it. • Language. What's spoken, how far English gets you, and five phrases with pronunciation. Tap to hear one where your phone has a voice for it. • Local rules. Tap water, alcohol, vaping. • Holidays. The dates that shut the banks and museums. • Climate. Monthly temperature and rainfall, plus hurricane, monsoon and wildfire seasons. PREMIUM Country Card Premium is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks additional cards and removes ads.
