About
Six card games, built the way you'd want them built. Deckla deals a proper hand, remembers where you left off, and asks nothing of you but a spare ten minutes. Every game is free and unlimited, plays with no connection at all, and is against an opponent that plays fair. GIN RUMMY The two-player classic. Draw, discard, knock — or hold your nerve for gin and take the bonus. Undercut the other hand when it knocks too early. First to a hundred. 500 RUMMY The open table, and a very different evening. Melds go down face up where they can be seen, and you may lay off on anybody's. When the card you need is buried six deep in the discard pile you can go in after it — you just have to take everything above it. SEQUENCE Cards on a board. Every card but the jacks is printed twice on a 10x10 grid; play one from your hand and that square is yours. Five chips in a line is a sequence, two sequences wins, and the corners are free for everybody. Jacks are the knife: two drop a chip anywhere, two take one of the opponent's off. SPITE AND MALICE A race to shed a face-down pile you cannot reorder. Count the middle up from one to twelve, take your stock card down whenever it fits, and stack your discards so they come back out in order. That last part is the game. WAR The first card game most people ever learn, and the only one here with no choices in it. Turn a card each, higher card takes both. Two the same and it is war: three down, one up, winner takes all ten. GO FISH The other one everybody learns first, and the one that turns out to have something in it. Collect four of a kind by asking — but you may only ask for a rank you are already holding, so every question tells the table what you have. AN OPPONENT THAT PLAYS FAIR Three difficulties: Casual, Steady and Sharp. They differ in how much attention they pay, not in what they are allowed to see. Casual plays its own hand. Steady remembers every discard, so it stops chasing cards that are already dead. Sharp does all that and reads what you have been taking. None of them can see your hand or the order of the deck — not at any difficulty, not ever. It plays from the same table you are looking at. PLAY ANYWHERE, STOP ANYTIME Every game plays fully offline. Leave in the middle of a hand and it waits at the top of the catalog, exactly as you left it. If you like, Deckla will remind you, at most twice, about a game you left half-played. Nothing else. CARDS WORTH LOOKING AT Two decks, switchable whenever you like, both free. One with flat pips and bold numerals, built so the rank reads from the corner at any fan angle. One typographic deck with no pips at all — the rank fills the card and the suit is spelled out. That second deck is the large-print accessibility deck, and nothing in this app puts it behind a price. BUILT FOR BOTH SCREENS Cards fan for the width they actually have, not the device they are on — an iPad in a narrow Split View column lays out like a phone, because at that size it is one. Full VoiceOver support and Dynamic Type throughout. YOUR GAMES, ON EVERY DEVICE Start a hand on iPhone, finish it on iPad. Saves, scores and settings sync through your own private iCloud, and iCloud is optional: signed out, everything works and stays on this one device. Thirty Game Center achievements count the games you have already played. NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS, NO TRACKING There is no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code of any kind in this app. It makes no network request to any server we run, because there is no server we run. Your games are yours. DECKLA PRO Every game and both decks are free and unlimited. Pro is a one-time purchase that adds the conveniences: undo, hints, the sharpest opponent, and your full record beyond the most recent twenty games. Try undo and hints a few times before you decide. Six card games, built the way you'd want them built.
Deckla deals a proper hand, remembers where you left off, and asks nothing of you but a spare ten minutes. Every game is free and unlimited, plays with no connection at all, and is against an opponent that plays fair.
GIN RUMMY
The two-player classic. Draw, discard, knock — or hold your nerve for gin and take the bonus. Undercut the other hand when it knocks too early. First to a hundred.
