ShadeSide Seat Sun

ShadeSide is a focused outdoor seat sun and shade planning tool for stadiums, school fields, tennis courts, amphitheaters, bleachers, and other open-air venues. Create an event, enter the venue coordinates and effective UTC offset, then add the seat options you are considering. For each option, set the direction the seats face and an optional roof or overhang cutoff. ShadeSide calculates the local solar azimuth and elevation at 15-minute intervals, compares direct-sun exposure, and highlights the option with the lowest score. Save the result as a shade brief, review the recommended timeline, and export named PDF and CSV files through Apple's system share sheet. Plans and briefs persist locally so you can return to them before ticket purchase or event day. ShadeSide is a one-time purchase. There is no account, subscription, advertising, analytics, tracking, venue database, ticket affiliate system, cloud sync, or Gobling Company server upload. Location access is optional and requested only after you tap Use Current Location. You can always type coordinates manually. Sun and shade results are geometry-based estimates from the information you enter. Temporary structures, nearby buildings, terrain, weather, and inaccurate seat orientation can change actual conditions.
